Microsoft is giving Ms Office 365 Free: Two ways to get all office application for free

Every computer user is familiar with the trio of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – these widely-used applications form an integral part of the Microsoft Office Suite. For both of them, you need to have Microsoft account which can be created for free from here. While signing up you can either create a new email id or use your existing one like Gmail or Yahoo.

First Method: Office.com

After creating Microsoft account, visit the www.office.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Select the free version and proceed. Now you can open all the above applications on in your browser. This means you can access it from anywhere. You just need to have internet. They will store all your working files on your One Drive. You also get free storage of 5GB. That is sufficient for 500 documents of size 10 MB each. You can also download the document/file created on office 365 into your local machine.

Second Method: Office Application

If you like the desktop version and don’t prefer to use a browser for accessing Office Apps then you can also download the Office Application for free from App store. It’s essentially a hub for accessing the Office desktop apps, launching recent documents, or simply finding the free web versions of Office. It’s a free app that comes pre-installed with Windows 10, and you don’t need an Office 365 subscription to use it. To use free version of office 365, you need to sign in from your Microsoft account. Again, free version of Office 365 is cloud based and you need to have a working internet connection to use it. The best feature about this method over first one, it can find the existing Office document in your PC. To edit it, you just need to upload it to One Drive and that’s a matter of just one click.
